Ford Fiesta Flywheel Failure

Flywheel Failure may occur in Ford Fiesta models. The vehicle has difficulty taking off, especially on steep slopes. It's like the engine doesn't have enough power. If the same event is repeated several times, it means that there are malfunctions in the flywheel part. It is a chronic condition that is frequently seen in Ford Fiesta models. Late general maintenance and wear of the flywheel mechanism in a short time will cause malfunction.

                                           Causes of Flywheel Failure?

Flywheel Failure is caused by various reasons. The most important factor is caused by "Clutch". Wear in the clutch cables and parts triggers the problem. Using the clutch part too hard will cause the problem to worsen. There are also reasons caused by part flow, which we call flywheel gear stripping, while the vehicle is running.

Grinding noise when starting the starter: If you hear an annoying grinding sound when you start the vehicle, it means there is a belt failure. It cannot send full ignition because the belt is stripped. As it is forced, there is a problem with sound.

Loud metal friction noise: If you hear a high friction noise while your vehicle is driving and it continues uninterruptedly, it means that the flywheel parts are rubbing against each other. If you hear the same sound when you stop the vehicle and start it again, you should take it to the technical service without trying too hard.

                                             Flywheel Failure Repair

When it becomes clear that there is a flywheel failure based on the symptoms in the vehicle, it is necessary to take the vehicle to the nearest technical service. If the sound coming from the vehicle is loud and becomes very difficult while driving, it is necessary to take it to the nearest car mechanic and have it repaired. Repair of the flywheel part's gears, belt part and other damaged parts will begin. Flywheel and belt will be completely replaced if necessary.
