Ford Ranger Engine Knocking Failure

While some malfunctions in the Ford Ranger model are annoying, sometimes the solution can be quite simple. In the popular and popular Ranger series, engine stalling may occur. Some reasons will cause malfunctions, from the strong gear feature to the use of too much engine power in the field. Let's look at the main reasons why the engine stalls and sometimes stops as soon as it starts.

Fuel system and air filter control: Since the fuel system of the vehicle will be related to the engine, all parts related to the fuel system should be checked. Even if there is a small faulty part, the engine will not receive full power. This causes misfires and operating problems. If there is generally no problem in the fuel system, check the air filter. If the filters are clogged or no longer in their previous strength, the operating capacity of the engine will increase if the air filter is changed.

Checking the spark plugs: Spark plugs may wear out over time and may not provide the same power as before. Problems with spark plugs falling out of place or moving may occur. At that time, technical problems will occur in the vehicle, leading to engine misfire.

Checking the battery and charging system: Since the Ford Ranger model has very powerful features, the battery and charging system maintain the engine power in difficult terrain conditions. Discharge of the battery, disconnection of the cable, or wear on the ends of the cable will cause the engine to stall. By checking the charging system and cable entry parts, if it is time to replace them, they can be renewed immediately.

Control of throttle and fuel pump: The throttle in the vehicle is the main part that increases power and affects the healthy operation of the engine. If there is a problem of dirt on the inside of the throttle, clogging, or wear on its surfaces, repairing the throttle will correct the problem. The fuel pump connects the power transmitted to the engine. If there are cracks in the pump parts, the engine will stall and often stop.

If the steps given for the engine stalling problem are done, the malfunction will be eliminated. Despite these, if the engine still starts and stops, the problem may be in different places. It would be a good idea to go to the service and have the necessary parts serviced. Ford Ranger is a vehicle that is fully maintained and productive in terms of capacity. It should be known that if the controls are provided, the engine power will have a high impact on the vehicle.
